More changes are underway as part of the Mildred Hailey Apartments redevelopment project. To help keep residents informed, we’re providing an update on recent and upcoming construction activities and what to expect in the coming weeks. 

Fencing: On Monday, October 5, we installed a construction site fence around 50-52 Lamartine Street and 265-267 Centre Street, as shown by the highlighted boundary in the image below labeled “Building 2 Work Area.” The installation takes a few days, so you’ll see the fence go in parts. We apologize for the inconvenience as anyone walking typically through the site to get to the T or Centre Street will have to go around the two buildings. 

Parking: Parking will not be available in the lot in front of 50-52 Lamartine Street for the duration of this project. Cars still in the lot as of 10/7/26 at 8 AM will be towed at the owner’s expense. 

Demolition: We are cutting utility connections and prepping for interior abatement of 50-52 Lamartine Street ahead of demolition.
