Construction updates:

• 2 Lamartine + Anna Mae Cole Community Center:
  • Final mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work is ongoing in the amenity spaces and large hall
  • Exterior panel installation is nearly completed
  • Unit punchlist is nearly completed
• 6 Lamartine:
  • Unit punchlist are completed
  • Interior finishes have been completed in amenity spaces
  • Solar panel installation on the roof is completed
• Site Work:
  • Courtyard concrete and finish work in progress
  • Pavers, metal edging, plantings, and light pole bases are being installed

3/3/2025 Meeting: This session was held for former residents of 24 Heath Street and 960-964 Parker Street

3/10/2025 Meeting: This session was held for current residents of 265+267 Centre Street and 50+52 Lamartine Street

The BHA has contracted Judy Cohn Relocation as the relocation consultant to assist with the re-occupancy of 2 and 6 Lamartine Street. Judy Cohn Relocation will provide support to residents throughout the process, ensuring a smooth transition and addressing any concerns or questions that arise.

The construction team continues to make great progress on the construction of 2 and 6 Lamartine! Below are current updates:

• 2 Lamartine + Anna Mae Cole Community Center: 54% Complete
  • Rough mechanical, sprinkler, electrical and plumbing installation ongoing
  • Unit framing ongoing

• 6 Lamartine: 70% Complete
  • New permanent power equipment being delivered, with power expected mid-January
  • Window installation completed
  • Flooring & cabinetry installation in progress
  • Final electrical, mechanical, and plumbing has started
  • Life Safety installation ongoing

• Site Work:
  • Binder coat for new road installed
  • Eversource and National Grid finishing main utility installation

6 Lamartine St. Updates: 59% Complete

• Roof is nearing completion
• Exterior siding is in progress
• Window installation is complete
• Interior framing and drywall installation is in progress
• HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) installation is in progress
• New electrical and plumbing utilities are in progress

  • Upgrading of all site utilities which includes water and sewer lines, and electrical.
  • Continued exploration of where upgraded utilities will be installed on Heath Street. Roadwork will begin once this exploration work is finalized.
  • Utility and infrastructure work onsite near 50 Lamartine St. is ongoing.
